Hot Weather

Due to the hot weather forecast this week, children may wear their PE kits to school.

• We will ensure that the children get fresh air on these days; however when necessary we will limit the amount of time the children spend outdoors. Fortunately, the school has plenty of shaded areas for children to shelter from the sun.
• Children will be encouraged to drink water regularly. Please ensure that your child brings a full water bottle to school
• Please ensure that your child has a sun hat. It would also be helpful, particularly with the younger children, if sun block could be applied before the children come to school. The children may also bring sunglasses to wear in school.
