Reopening of school to all children in September
It is the Government’s plan that all pupils, in all year groups, will return to school full-time from the beginning of the autumn term. We have received guidelines from the government and we will shortly be in a position to tell you about how the return to school in September will be organised. We will be taking the first 2 days of term, Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September for staff training.
Term will start for children in most classes on Thursday 3rd September 2020. For those children new to school in our Reception and Nursery classes we will start welcoming them into school from Monday 7th September.
Please check the school website or Parentmail messages for updates.

Supporting your children's education
Free School Meals
The Department for Education (DfE) have launched a national free school meal voucher scheme.. We have registered all our FSM pupils for this scheme and families will receive a voucher worth £15 per child directly from DfE. These vouchers can be used at a range of supermarkets including Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose and will be sent to families by email or by post. Click here for further information about redeeming online codes
If your circumstances have changed and you feel that your child may qualify for free school meals you will need to apply online via clicking on this this link
Support from Manchester City Council
The Council will continue where it can to support Households with no existing entitlement to free school meals that may be experiencing severe hardship. Residents who have become unemployed or experienced a substantial fall in income due to Covid19 are strongly advised to claim Universal Credit and Council Tax Support or seek other available financial support from the Government. See the Council’s Coronavirus - Benefits and money webpage for more advice.
Key Worker Information Request
We will continue to provide reduced provision for the children of key workers and children with the most needs.
Government advice is that parents whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response include those who work in health and social care and in other key sectors. Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. And every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.
The Government definition of key worker is available by clicking here.
Please contact the school via email to - firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively call the school office on 0161 681 0407 (option 3) if you need to access our reduced provision.
